Ever Tried Homemade Butter Chicken?
Not as easy as simply using a can of Kissan Butter Chicken, but if you are wanting a meal truly from the heart, you’ll want to check out this recipe.
Create it yourself from scratch for delicious homemade Butter Chicken
- 3 tbsp Kissan Desi Ghee
- 1 tsp Kissan Garam Masala
- 1 lb Tandoori Chicken (Kissan Tandoori Masala (Pre-cooked see our other recipes for details)
- 1 tsp Ground Cumin
- 1 tbsp Ginger Paste
- 1 tbsp Garlic Paste
- 2 Large Diced Onions
- 1 8 oz Can Tomato Puree
- 2 tsp Salt
- 2 tsp Pepper
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric
- 1 tsp Chili Powder
- 2 cups Cream
Heat Kissan Desi Ghee in pan and add cumin powder, ginger paste, and garlic paste.
Saute for 2-3 minutes then add diced onions
Simmer for 7-8 more minutes and add tomato puree.
Cook 10-12 additional minutes, then add salt, pepper, turmeric and chili powder.
Combine thoroughly, an add Tandoori Chicken and let simmer for 6-7 minutes.
Mix in cream and let it cook another 7-8 minutes on Medium
Stir occasionally and mix in Kissan Garam Masala
Garnish with Cilantro and serve with Roti, Naan or Rice.
The fabulous thing about using this recipe is if you already have leftover Tandoori Chicken, it gives it new life with a fresh twist. If not, you can just prepare as normal, fresh, by using one of our Tandoori Recipes. Check them out here.
